  • Queensland Mental Health Week 2026 – Build Community, Build Wellbeing

The event was a great success, with plenty of opportunities for people to connect, learn about local support services, share experiences and build new relationships. It was wonderful to see so many people come together with a shared commitment to supporting mental health and wellbeing across the Gladstone region.

A sincere thank you to the Queensland Mental Health Commission and the Queensland Alliance for Mental Health (QAMH) for proudly funding this event and helping make it possible.

We would also like to thank all of our stallholders for sharing their time, knowledge and services with the community, as well as our lived experience speakers for their generosity in sharing their stories and perspectives. A special thank you to the Deputy Mayor for joining us and speaking at the event.

Events like this are a reminder of the importance of connection, collaboration and creating opportunities for open conversations about mental health. By bringing our community together, we can continue to build a more informed, connected and supportive region.

Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed and helped make the day such a success. We look forward to continuing this important work together.
