  • GRASP Joins Roses in the Ocean for Suicide Prevention Week

GRASP was pleased to be invited to join Roses in the Ocean this morning for the opening of their community event at Gladstone’s Blue Tree as part of Suicide Prevention Week.

The event provides an opportunity for members of the community to come together, hold space, connect and have conversations about suicide prevention and wellbeing. It also highlights the range of local supports available to help people in our community when they may need a little extra support.

As part of the event, a series of mirrors have been installed around Gladstone’s Blue Tree. The mirrors provide a simple but meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect and consider the importance of connection, support and looking out for one another.

The mirror installation will remain at the Blue Tree each day from today 7th September 2026 through to Friday 11th September 2026.

GRASP is proud to support initiatives that encourage open conversations, strengthen community connections and help reduce the stigma surrounding suicide and mental health.

We thank Roses in the Ocean for inviting us to be part of this important community event and for creating a space where people can come together, connect and learn about the support available locally.
